Upbeat...ish

Well, today comes to an end and for the first time since Saturday it actually doesn't seem like the world is falling apart... things have calmed down a little and the rants about Housing and Work and the Media all seem to have retreated, for the time being at least.

I am actually contemplating put a bet on Senegal beating South Korea in the World Cup final 2-1. Although I need to check if the odds make it worth it, and if they're actually up to meet in the final, which may not be the case. There's just something that appeals about the whole idea of it.

Anyway, I am going to bed now, feeling reasonably calm for the first time this week. The chest pains will just have to bugger off, because it's not fair them turning up now when I'm feeling more relaxed.
